About ClearConnect and Availity
MII services, Inc., doing business as ClearConnect, and Availity LLC have entered into an agreement in which Availity will acquire the ClearConnect clearinghouse business. Under the arrangement, the clearinghouse services provided by ClearConnect will be transitioned to Availity.
Availity is a leading health care information exchange and provider of e-health transaction services that provides a secure, HIPAA-compliant information exchange. Availity enables both batch EDI and real-time transactions to multiple health plans, via a single point of access. Availity counts among its owners Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, Health Care Service Corporation, WellPoint and Humana Inc.
ClearConnect has begun disconnecting its platform for all transactions. By June of 2010, our clients will have completed migration of their connections for HIPAA transactions to one of the most advanced and comprehensive health care information exchanges in the country, the Availity® Health Information Network.
We believe the migration of services will be completely seamless. Availity is committed to delivering:

Availity continually adds health plans to the network. They are committed to ensuring operation in accordance with MN Statute 62J, working toward building capabilities for Workers Compensation, Auto, and Property & Casualty claim transactions, as well as offering 835-functionality.
